hmm. not in a very good place/mood lately... Some people know why, others don't... I don't know if I wanna talk about it coz I don't really wanna face it. I'm very very escapist. But anyways, decided to come in and post some songs. They're really happy, uplifting songs that y'know, make me a bit wistful but yea. Here goes
Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer Kiss me out of the bearded barley Nightly, beside the green, green grass Swing, swing, swing the spinning step You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.
[Chorus:] Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight Lead me out on the moonlit floor Lift your open hand Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance Silver moon's sparkling So kiss me
Kiss me down by the broken tree house Swing me upon its hanging tire Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat We'll take the trail marked on your father's map
[Chorus (repeat)]

Girl on TV by LFO >Oooh,Yeahhhh,I'm wishin' on a fallin' star, wonderin' where you are....I wish...
[Chorus]
I wish for you on a fallin' star, wonderin' where you are,do I ever cross your mind,In the warm sunshine, she's from the city of angels, like Betty Davis,James Dean, and Gable, never know what she means to me.I fell for the girl that's on TV.
[Verse 1]
Met her at a counter affair, she wore a green dress, and everybody was there, felt out of place till she looked into my eyes.Shook your hand around 9 P.M. about never gonna be the same again.Never had to be on a movie screen to be the leading lady in all my dreams...
Shooby-doo-wop,and scooby snacks, met a fly girl and i can't relax, the only problem is she's a movie star,Oh,my friends, they won't believe me,if they could only see me,at the risk of sounding cheesy,i think i fell for the girl on TV.
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 2]
Everybody knows her name,Wanna take a picture and their glad she came,But I just want to be there when she's down, down(Be there when she's down) I don't want her autograph,I just want to call her up and make her laugh,Never had to be on a movie screen,To be the leading lady in all my dreams.
Shooby doo-wap & scooby snacks, I Met a fly girl and I can't relax The only problem is she's a movie star, Oh,My friends they won't believe me If they could only see me,At the risk of sounding cheezy,I think I fell for the girl on TV.
[Repeat Chorus]
[Bridge]
I'm wishin' on a star....and wonderin' where you are Do i cross your mind??In the warm sunshine???
[Rich's Rap]
Yeah,So I wish for you on a bright shining star, Every where I look there you are,There you are It's the girl in the green dress, She took my breath away,And now I look to the sky, For a better day,To the beach shore and scooby snacks, I met a fly girl and I can't relax, Never had to be on a movie screen Cause she's the leading lady in all my dreams,I wish
[Repeat Chorus]

I didn't know this song was written for Jennifer Love Hewitt! But it's awesome and really really sweet. I love JLove but some things about her scare me. But anw yea, really sweet. And the last song i'm gonna share is by my new favorite band, Maroon 5 =) I really love the lyrics to this song, they're awesome.
Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 Sunday morning rain is falling Steal some covers share some skin Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable You twist to fit the mold that I am in
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew That someday it would lead me back to you That someday it would lead me back to you
That may be all I need In darkness she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning And I never want to leave
Fingers trace your every outline Paint a picture with my hands Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm Change the weather still together when it ends
That may be all I need In darkness she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning And I never want to leave
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to you Singing someday it'll bring me back to you Find a way to bring myself back home to you
And you may not know That may be all I need In darkness she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning
---------------------------------
I think the lyrics to Sunday Morning are just beautiful. Poetic and just beautiful.
So yea, weird choice of songs but I just had a thought that to me, the best place to be in the world is in a healthy, fulfilling relationship. Haha. A bit idealistic but yea, just a thought.
Been a hectic past few days.. Going to start work on Monday, looking forward to it. I'm supposed to be attached to some guy called Victor for the day, so it won't be too tough on me. Hoping to learn something and really hope I'll enjoy myself! Okok that's all for now, i'm not in a good mood. Talk later.
Ciao people!

Ash Wednesday..
Tuesday, February 24, 2009
It's Ash Wednesday.. Time of Lent, time for reflection again..
I was particularly cheered by this hymn in church last Sunday so I thought I'd post it here..
Be Not Afraid You shall cross the barren desert, but you shall not die of thirst. You shall wander far in safety though you do not know the way. You shall speak your words in foreign lands and all will understand. You shall see the face of God and live.
R. Be not afraid. I go before you always. Come follow me, and I will give you rest.
2. If you pass through raging waters in the sea, you shall not drown. If you walk amid the burning flames, you shall not be harmed. If you stand before the pow'r of hell and death is at your side, know that I am with you through it all.
3. Blessed are your poor, for the kingdom shall be theirs. Blest are you that weep and mourn, for one day you shall laugh. And if wicked men insult and hate you all because of me, blessed, blessed are you!
---------------------------
yup! and then for a song of the day:
太想爱你 by Jeff Chang 慌乱城市中 连风都不自由 热闹的街头 就属我最寂寞 是爱的蛊惑 让我又兴起贪求的念头 爱不爱我 够不够久 会不会走
Yup, nice song! heh. Ok in the meantime, I'll have to fast tomorrow so I shall see you guys well, tomorrow I guess heh. Ok have a blessed week ahead everyone. I shall blog again soon. =)

hehe. what a cute picture! =) kinda sums up my mood now lol. BORED BABYYY =)
so i'm supposed to be studying really hard for mgg150 now... stupid course really. i mean, coz of the damn lecturer, not that i have anything against Business&Society. anyways, yea then I was trying to find stuff for COM326's informative speech outline that Ann,Joce and I are doing together.. Hehe yay it's great to be working with Anndear again =)
Anyways, we wanted to do an interesting "How to tell if you're color blind/part-horse/really sleepy" kinda info-speech so we were each searching for stuff.. I found stuff like "How to tell if you're dreaming" haha but I found this one (below) which effectively distracted me for the rest of the day:
How To Tell You're in a Horror Game!
1. If a nice, sunny day turns into a foggy or rainy scenery for no apparent reason and in less than one minute.
2. The city/town you are in is empty, except for those zombies, crazy cult-members and other un-natural beings running around.
3. No matter whose refrigerator or medicine storage you look into, there will always be a health drink or a first-aid kit. (LOL VERY TRUE)
4. Related to number 3, there will be no edible food to be found, but that's okay, because here you can survive without food, water or sleep for days!
5. If you see a child running around, s/he is most likely already dead and spends his/her time drawing freaky pictures, making you do stupid things and making fun of you.
6. If you try to get in contact with the said dead kid, they'll run from you and talk weird stuff if you talk to them.
7. You'll notice that if there are any living people around (and let's include the dead kids in this section as well,) none of them are hurt in any way and monsters won't go even near them unless they're going with you.
8. No matter where you go, there will always be weapons and ammunition at hand.
9. If you're a local, your parents (or at least one of them) are absolutely connected to the local cult that sacrifices people to maintain its peace.
10. You will note that the city/town will have a catholic church and there will always be someone in the confessioning box (hope you know what I mean), ready to tell you their darkest secrets without seeing anything weird about the old priest suddenly becoming a young stranger.
11. All the local dogs are of the same race. Even after their deaths. (ANOTHER TRUE ONE LOL)
12. If you're a man there will always be a hot girl in trouble that you need to rescue and drag along; in worst case scenario, you'll have to make sure she doesn't die along the way. If you're a woman, you'll have to manage on your own.
13. Everyone's white, and the one black guy will be eaten by some monster within 24 hours.
14. Hospitals are covered in blood, most doors are locked and there are mutilated bodies everywhere. You might also hear some screams coming from the other side of the wall. (NODS VIGOROUSLY)
15. If you go to a playground, you will hear little kids chanting something, but you'll never actually get to meet the kids.
16. If you're wounded, no problem! Even if someone drills through your leg, you'll be able to walk just fine.
17. Everyone, even you, knows how to use a gun and what you should do in close-range combat, or any combat for that matter.
18. There will be more dead nurses than there have ever been living nurses in the first place. (never realized this but come to think about it, yes quite true! the damn zombies keep reappearing!)
19. You will get sudden headaches that make the world very gory and whenever you pass out, you will wake up completely unharmed, no matter how many monsters are running around looking for their next meal.
20. By the time you finally get out of this mess, you're the only one still alive or then you and your dumb sidekick (the girl if you're a guy) both made it. You won't get to have sex with her though. Bummer, isn't it?
LOL yes it's so true!!! And it totally reminded me of that show - "Stay Alive" that I really loved and how much into Horror games I am lol. Ok very ashamed to admit this but yea, I really had a thing for horror/room-escape/survival type games awhile back.. Lol. I blame my ITClub history for this. But I played really lame games like House of the Dead and Red Chamber and a lot of mini flash games that i can't remember.. I never invested in games like Doom or Silent Hill or Resident Evil.. Though ok I really really want to play those (still)...
So anyways, that article got me to searching for horror video games and I found this article that's making me really excited to play those games again...
Horror video games, to some extent, can be a much more terrifying experience than just watching a film, mainly because more is at stake when playing a horror game and the user is actively involved in what's on the screen rather than passively watching what's on the TV. Join us as we take a look at the next year or so and the killer lineup of horror games that are on the horizon.
#20: Saw
Virtually nothing about the video game based on the tremendously grisly Saw franchise has been revealed other than the news that the original film's director James Wan will be heavily involved in the project and Billy the Puppet will appear in the Saw game. Our guess is that players will be the ones attempting to escape from traps built to rip them limb from limb.
#19: Sadness
The upcoming survival horror game Sadness has caught our attention for several reasons. The first is the game's plot which involves a mother who must protect her narcoleptic son after they survive a train wreck. The other reason the game has us interested are the graphics which are done entirely in black and white.
#18: Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Castlevania, the reason everyone still fears Dracula, will bring the fear back with its newest DS game: Castlevania Order of Ecclesia. This time, you're filling the role of resident hottie Shanoa, battling the gruesome and grotesque monsters of Big D's undead army. It's a potential pocket-size thriller in the works...
#17: Castle Wolfenstein
Even though there have been no updates in many months on the first next-gen Wolfenstein game tentatively titled Castle Wolfenstein, we haven't given up hope that we'll eventually get to wage war against the Nazis and the horrible genetically engineered monsters they've birthed to further the Fuhrer's cause.
#16: Witches
Coming soon to next-gen consoles and PC is the lesser-known title Witches, a medieval horror game where the player will slay a variety of gruesome looking beasties. Making the game sound even sweeter is the fact that you'll deal out your onslaught as three different half-naked Witches.
#15: Alone in the Dark
Forget that abysmal Uwe Boll movie which had absolutely nothing to do with the Alone in the Dark series. The latest game, simply titled "Alone in the Dark," is the first game in the series in seven years and were extremely anxious to see the final product which is said to explore an ungodly evil below New York City's Central Park which is causing mutated trees and other strange occurrences.
#14: Zombie Massacre
Though no one has seen the game in action as of yet, the way 1988 Games describes the gameplay in Zombie Massacre is more than enough to get us pumped to slaughter our way through massive armies of the undead. Zombie Massacre is being developed for the Nintendo Wii and is being described as Blast Corps or Crazy Taxi in the regard that you'll be fighting zombies under a time limit. But unlike the games mentioned, the timer in this game is attached to a nuclear warhead that will obliterate everything living and dead once it runs out. On the surface, Zombie Massacre seems like the closest thing to a game based on Return of the Living Dead's premise.
#13: Siren: Blood Curse
Sony's genuinely horrifying Siren really never got the attention it deserved on the PS2, and that's probably why it's coming to the PS3 in a re-imagining of the original game told through the perspectives of all new characters, a new storyline, a new graphics engine (translation: only the kickass story of the original will be the same). If you're looking for a high quality horror title to play in addition to Resident Evil and Silent Hill, Siren: Blood Curse should be a good game to pick up.
#12: Dead Space
The films Event Horizon, The Thing, and Alien, along with video games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill are all listed by the game's creators as influencing Dead Space, and when you see the trailers for the game you'll know why. The game follows the story of an engineer and his coworkers as they investigate a distress call from a "planet cracker" which destroys dead planets in order to extract valuable minerals inside them. Once they reach the ship, they encounter aliens that aren't quite as affable as E.T.
#11: Project Origin
For those who don't know, Project Origin is the sequel to the popular horror shooter F.E.A.R. and is not called F.E.A.R. 2 due to the previous game's company owning the license. Despite the confusing name, you can expect all the paranormal action of the original and more once we see Project Origin in action, which is toted as having more variety than F.E.A.R. and open-environments.
#10: Operation Darkness
Role-playing games certainly aren't for everybody--but for the horror enthusiast, you may want to check out Atlus's upcoming Operation Darkness which places the player in the role of a British Special Forces unit which has been ordered to take down Adolf Hilter himself, the Nazi war machine, flesh-eating zombies, werewolves, skeletons, and vampires. Yes, this all sounds a bit campy to us too, but it also sounds like an awesome way to relax after a long day at the office.
#9: Dead Rising 2
We all know Dead Rising 2, the sequel to the commercially successful Xbox 360 game which takes place in a huge mall overrun by zombies (which is strikingly similar to the basic premise of George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead), is probably eventually coming. What we don't know is any details about the game. There's almost zero chance the game will take place in a mall again, so why not place the next one in an underground military facility (like in Day of the Dead) or in a metropolitan city teeming with zombies (like in Land of the Dead). Hell, they could set Dead Rising 2 at Chuck E Cheeses and we'd still play it--actually, that's not a bad idea.
#8: Silent Hill: Homecoming
Konami's atmospherically surreal answer to Resident Evil is any but a poor man's version of the latter--in fact, some people actually prefer Silent Hill's unique brand of frightening imagery to that of RE's. The newest game in the horror franchise, Silent Hill: Homecoming, tells the tale of Alex Shepherd, a soldier who after returning home from the war discovers that his family is missing and eventually finds himself in Silent Hill.
#7: Gears of War 2
While it could be argued that the highly-anticipated Gears of War 2 classifies more as "horror-themed" than "horror," but that doesn't make us any less excited to exchange gunfire with the repugnant Locust race in the next chapter of this gruesome shooter. Did we mention that Gears 2 allows you to engage in chainsaw fights?
#6: Ghostbusters: The Video Game
Do you really need a reason to get excited about Ghostbusters: The Video Game? Well, in case the game's title is not enough for you, the game will feature Slimer, the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and the Ghostbusters, and the films' writer and actor Dan Aykroyd even describes the forthcoming game to essentially be Ghostbusters III, with elements from a never produced "Ghostbusters in Hell" script to be included in the game. It's also the best-looking game based on the film series to date (not that the other Ghostbusters games were anything other than total crap).
#5: BioShock 2
We still have stains in our underpants from the first time we faced off against the hulking menaces known as Big Daddys in the original BioShock. And we can't fathom anything more blood-curdling than the freaks you fight in the original. While BioShock 2 will likely be more of a slight upgrade + continuation of the original (ala God of War to God of War II or GTA3 to GTA Vice City/San Andreas) rather than a full-blown sequel, we still can't wait to get our hands on it.
#4: Left 4 Dead
It's hard to believe that after so many years, no one has made an even half-way decent zombie FPS game, but it looks as though all that's going to change thanks to Left 4 Dead. In the game, players control a team of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world where diseased hordes of the "Infected" are rampant. One of the coolest things we've heard about the game is how players will get the chance to play as several different zombie types, such as a morbidly obese zombie that can spray enemies with projectile vomit (which attracts insects carrying the virus) and also explodes when it dies, splattering its surroundings with its rotten insides.
#3: Doom 4
Although the fourth game in id Software's flagship first-person shooter franchise was announced just weeks ago, we're still beyond stoked that we're officially going to get to battle whatever demonic abominations manage to crawl out of the bowels of hell in Doom 4. Especially if they up the number of much-needed outdoor levels.
#2: Resident Evil 5
Since the original Resident Evil's inception back in 1996, Capcom's survival horror series has remained the king of horror video games, and even from what little has been shown of Resident Evil 5 (it's set in Africa, enemies attack in large swarms, the plot is centered around the origin of the virus, etc.), the game looks like it has the potential to be the best Resident Evil game yet. The mysterious new sack-headed enemy in RE5 looks like a worthy successor to Resident Evil 4's chainsaw-weilding Dr. Salvador too.
#1: Aliens: Colonial Marines
With no new Alien sequels in the foreseeable future, Aliens: Colonial Marines is a welcome return to the Alien saga for fans that picks up shortly after where Alien 3 left off. In the game, you'll control a squad of colonial marines who have been ordered to rescue several military personnel, one of which is Ellen Ripley, blowing away any xenomorphs that get in your way. It almost makes up for two wretched AVP movies in a row.
Be sure to also check out OMGHorror's related feature article: 19 Upcoming Horror Movies We're Dying to See which lists the most-highly anticipated new horror films of 2008 and beyond.
---------------------------
Now I'm totally dying to get my hands on#20, #19, #17, #15, #11, #9, #8, #6 (and of course) #5, #4, #3, #2, #1!!!!!!!! Shit lol. But obviously I can't, because I'm cash-strapped at the mo.. Haha. And I don't usually like to spend money on video games.. Unless it's really really worth it (which I'm sure #3, #2, #1 are!! but still!)
So yea ok anyways then I started searching for Free Horror Games hahaha. A bit impossible to find decent horror games for FREE but worth a shot.. I found this page which is like really cheesy and full of those mini games for a cheap thrill.. Some good games I guess, like Desolation 2.. (which I just spent the last half hour playing lol shit... midterm midterm!! haha) Oh have I mentioned I played Dark Cut the other day? It's not as gory as it describes itself to be lol but the annoying thing is how pinpoint-accurate you have to be while carrying out the procedures. Then I found THIS page, which directed me to Penumbra, a previously free game that isn't free anymore =( And it's sad coz the game looks impressive! Grr
I also found some other links but I gave up because it really is too much of a trouble to find good games to play online unless they're MMORPG like Granado Espada, or ok fine WARCRAFT or that Hammerhead thingy game that Adam plays all the time. I have limited interest for games like these though ok i played GE for a very very short while. And some other games which I can't remember anymore. Haha the most hilarious game I've played has to be Utopia.
It's really funny coz I started playing that because my whole family (maternal side) started playing it.. So we all had various Utopia accounts.. Then exams came around and blah blah blah we all stopped playing it slowly, save for a few of us who'd play it on the side.. So one day in Buffalo I set up a new Utopia account on WoL server.. Tempted to start Battlefields but that server was gone hahaha so anyways. (At this point I must mention that I was never any good at Utopia. In fact, it's a running joke now with my cousins that everytime they sign into one of their accounts at a gathering, they'll say to me, "I bet you've never seen such a high networth right Cher?" lol)
So anyway yea I set up an account and meddled here and there w/o downloading Utopia Angel and stuff like that which is essential for anyone who's serious about Utopia. I was just treating it as a simple RPG.. Even maybe something like MUDding haha. Which I see now was a huge mistake. So anyways, I got to know some people in my kingdom better blah blah blah.. Then midterms came around and I had to study and I basically got really busy and had no time to upkeep my account for like, 3 days? I signed in again and got a message from my monarch saying that I wasn't growing enough and they had to kill me off the kd. I was like WTF!?!?! This isn't fair! Then so I was complaining on the forum. One of the guys I'd made friends with was kinda sticking up for me. He added me on msn and we were just talking and he was like giving me advice and shit..
2 days later I signed in and my NW had plummetted to new lows, my lands had been pillaged and basically I was dying. I was in no shape to rebuild and all. So i was feeling totally helpless and taken advantage of and ANGRY! Haha so I immediately spoke to my cousins (who are AWESOME at utopia btw.) and basically wanted them to take revenge for me and kill off this whole KD. My cousins, who had been monarchs of top-ranking kds in utopia, LAUGHED IN MY FACE. Lol. Thanks ah. They were like "Why did you start playing again? Do you have a lot of time there in the states or something?" lol
Anyways. That was a bit of a rant I needed to get out of my system. What was I talking about? Oh yea free horror games lol. So anyway yea point of the whole entry is 1) IF ANYONE HAS THE INSTALLER FOR ANY GOOD HORROR GAME, PASS IT ALONG =) Lol. I'll be very happy hehe. I'm not too good at FPS games but I'll try! Lol. Oh hopefully your games are for PC because I can't use my brother's Xbox.. Yea you know the problem.
2) So I was totally and completely distracted from schoolwork by just one simple article. GAWD the Internet really draws me in sometimes. You know what's worse? I was reading this other article too and now I just wanna go out and watch some horror movies...
#19: Rogue Release Date: TBA Aussie writer/director Gregg McLean follows up his incendiary feature length debut Wolf Creek with Rogue; a movie that highlights the travails of American journalists touring the Australian outback. Once there, they encounter man eating crocodile out for fresh feast; picking off the tourists one by one from a stranded muddy oasis. If this packs half the punch of Wolf Creek, this could be a bonafide '08 sleeper. The movie stars Radha Mitchell, Michael Vartan, John Jarratt (Wolf Creek's villain) and Robert Taylor (of Matrix fame). A tentative U.S. release date is un-slated at the moment.
#18: The Box Release Date: TBA 2008 After Richard Kelly's sublime, cryptically dark cult debut Donnie Darko, it took him seven or so odd years to release his sophomore effort Southland Tales, a widely lambasted debacle of a film that resonated with neither audiences nor critics. It appears his plans as auteur have been relegated to work for hire, now Kelly opens The Box; about a couple who mysteriously receives a small wooden box on their doorstep. Opening the box rewards with the couple with instant wealth; yet little do they know that every time the box is opened, a complete and total strange is killed. The movie features James Marsden, Cameron Diaz and Frank Langella, based on the storied urban legend by Richard Matheson. The movie is in post-production and will be released some time in 2008.
#17: Hellboy II: The Golden Army Release Date: July 11, 2008. The Golden Army - Though not technically a horror film proper, Guillermo Del Toro returns with his kick ass off beat comic book character with Ron Perlman reprising the titular role. Not only directing, Del Toro's new script will focus on Hellboy and his team's attempt to save planet Earth from rebellious creatures out to conquer the world, stopping at nothing short of all out intergalactic war. On board this time are the familiar faces of John Hurt, Selma Blair, Doug Jones, Brian Steele and Jeffery Tambor, among others.
(RELEASED ALREADY, I'VE WATCHED IT. GOOD =))
#16: Cell Release Date: TBA Horror icon Stephen King lends his conception of a zombie filled technological future run amok in Eli Roth's new film Cell. The writer/director of Cabin Fever, the highly successful Hostel and Hostel Part II, now tries his hand at adapting perhaps the most notorious of difficult material in the genre; a King novel. The film revolves around a deadly pulse that radiates through the every cell phone; causing each user to degenerate into flesh hungry fiends out to eviscerate all who stand in there way. The film is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to hit theaters some time in 2009.
#15: Teeth Release Date: May 6, 2008 (video) Well, what can we say about Teeth? Perhaps the best premise combining horror with humor in the most unique way since, I don't know, Re-Animator? Evil Dead 2 maybe! Writer/director Mitchell Lichtenstein (son of Pop Art pioneer Roy Lichtenstein) takes his first bite out of filmmaking with Teeth; a picture about a young girl who develops deadly fangs along the inside walls of her gender region. She lures horny teenage boys like flies to a trap, offering them something intimate they'll never forget. I mean, I've heard of a girl being a dog, but canines in her crack? DAMN!! The flick stars Jess Weixler, John Hensley, Josh Pais, Hale Appleman, and Ashley Springer. Teeth starts with a limited release in May 2008, hoping for wider distribution in the months to come.
#14: Machete Release Date: TBA Robert Rodriguez's send up to action exploitation can never be more evident than his soon to be straight to video release of Machete. The film stars Danny Trejo as a one time Mexican Federale, hired and ultimately set up to assassinate a corrupt senator. As Machete survives an onslaught of initial attacks, he sets out to exact revenge on those conspiring to ensure his demise. Though not your typical horror fare, this will certainly have plenty of blood shed, campy humor, nudity, even cooler 70's low budget production values, and an awesome throw back soundtrack. Fun, if nothing else! No release date has been set. Note: below is the faux trailer of Machete from the film Grindhouse and not the official trailer for the planned full length film.
#13: Mirrors Release Date: August 15, 2008 Alexandre Aja seems to be cornering the horror remake market. After his 2006 rendition of The Hills Have Eyes Aja is now focusing his efforts on the remake of perhaps the most original Asian (South Korea) horror flick to come out in many a moon, Into the Mirror. The film, about a mall security guard who notices strange happenings in a department store, focuses on one man's tireless determination to solve mysterious murders linked with the mirrors that align the store. Aja has locked familiar American talent such as Kiefer Southerland, Amy Smart, Paula Patton, as well as British imports John Shrapnel and Jason Femyng.
#12: The Ruins Release Date: April 4, 2008 Director Carter Smith tackles his first horror effort with The Ruins; a film about a group of young twenty something friends whose rural Mexican vacation gets side swiped upon the decision to explore an archeological dig in the heart of the jungle. Inside the ruins, an ancient evil presence festers and threatens to overtake every last newcomer; a premise that pits the survivors against each other as much as against the root of the evil (ala The Thing). The Ruins features Jonathon Tucker, Jenna Malone, Shawn Ashmore, Laura Ramsey and Joe Anderson.
#11: Giallo Release Date: TBA 2008 Argento returns to his roots with Giallo, a slasher flick cut from the same cloth as Tenebrae, Deep Red and Opera. This time out, we have an American stewardess in Milan, who must cooperate with an Italian detective to reclaim her abducted sister from a deadly assailant simply known as "Yellow." In addition to literally translating in Italian as "Yellow," the word Giallo has come to represent a film genre unto itself; one featuring elaborate, bloodletting death scenes accompanied with strange musical tones and ambient sounds (Argento and Bava being the fathers). Along with daughter Asia Argento, Ray Liotta and Elsa Pataky will also star in Dario's latest dance with the dead. Giallo is in pre-production and has a provisional 2008 release date.
#10: The Midnight Meat Train Release Date: May 16, 2008 From the demented mind of horror veteran Clive Barker, comes the twisted story of The Midnight Meat Train, where a photographer in the Big Apple is hell bent on tracking down and ending the life of a rampant serial killer. This particular yarn weaves horror with mystery as well as elements of the crime thriller; all helmed by Japanese director Ryuhei Kitamura, who's dipped into this sort of territory with prior works such as Alive, Sky High (not the Kurt Russell piece) and Versus. The script is adapted by up and coming horror enthusiast Jeff Buhler, who currently has his own feature length horror debut in post-production called Insanitarium, which also might be worth keeping eyes on. The film stars Vinnie Jones, Bradley Cooper and Brooke Shields.
#9: Silent Night, Deadly Night Release Date: TBA Easily one of the most inspired, yet polemical slasher flicks ever to be sprung into the mainstream; Alexandre Aja is back at rehashing good ideas with his remake of Silent Night, Deadly Night. The movie focuses on a maniacal psycho killer who roams the streets of a small town decked in a Santa Clause outfit, viciously laying to waste all who cross his path; gorily disposing all he deems naughty, on Christmas Eve no less. The original '84 version was met with rabid criticism and protest, and although Aja can't seem to conjure an original idea for himself, he does seem to have a flare for directing this kind of material. No actors are on board yet, and a release date is nowhere in sight.
#8: Mother of Tears Release Date: June 6, 2008 The undisputed maestro of Italian punk splatter Dario Argento is back at work, adding to his impressive oeuvre with the conclusion of the "Three Mothers" trilogy; the final installment being Mother of Tears. The film is set in Rome, where an ancient urn discovered in a cemetery becomes pierced, unleashing an evil spirit that plagues the city with murder, rape, looting; all around violent chaos. The fate of the city is left in the hands of a young art student, who with her own supernatural ability; has finally met her ultimate match. The film stars Asia Argento, Dario Nicolodi, Udo Kier, and Christian Solimeno; and a limited NC-17 theatrical release is in negotiation.
#7: 25/8 Release Date: TBA 2009 With recent artistic departures in films like Red Eye, and Paris, I Love You, Wes Craven is back with slasher vengeance in his newest project 25/8. Like many of the highly esteemed directors listed above, we all hope that one last savage entry into the genre will debunk any notion of these men slipping into effete categorization of washed up old hacks. In 25/8, a homicidal psychopath returns to his home town to stalk a handful of children who share the same birthday as the day he was left for dead. Not only directing, Craven penned his own script, and since the film is merely in pre-production without a cast, a 2009 release is looking more and more imminent.
#6: Wizard of Gore Release Date: TBA Herschell Gordon Lewis' original vision was so offbeat and underground that it took two years after the film was wrapped to find distribution. Almost four decades later, director Jeremy Kasten, who's headed such horror fare as All Souls Day and The Thirst, takes Allen Kahn's story updated by Zach Chassler, and attempts to put his own stamp on it. The flick is centered on a sadistic magician who finds pleasure in maiming, torturing and brutally killing his on stage volunteers. Or so it would seem! The movie will feature Crispin Glover, Bijou Philips, Brad Dourif, Kip Pardue and Jeffrey Combs. A release date has not been ascertained as of yet.
#5: From a Buick 8 Release Date: TBA 2009 Speaking of the aforementioned Tobe Hooper, the man responsible for genre greats like Eaten Alive, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Funhouse; also has the pick back in hand, ready to carve another master work in the Stephen King adaptation of From a Buick 8. The film highlights a strange car looking vessel, a Buick 8; that serves as a portal into another dark dimension for human beings to experience. Those who have read the book know this bears no resemblance to King's other automotive horror story, Christine. The film is currently in pre-production and is chalked for an unknown 2009 release.
#4: Stuck / House of Re-Animator Release Date: May 30, 2008 (Stuck); TBA (House of Re-Animator) Stuart Gordon, chiefly known for his comic horror gem Re-Animator, has immersed himself in the horror world once again, steadfast at work with the release of his next two features. The first, Stuck, is a blood-splattered horror/thriller dealing with the intricacies of a hit and run car accident, and the fate of being "stuck" in the wrong place at the wrong time. The flick stars Mena Suvari and Stephen Rea with a hopeful limited release to start May 30, 2008. Not to be outdone however, Gordon goes back to the well with the announcement of House of Re-Animator, delivering Jeffrey Combs' iconic role of Herbert West into the White House for some presidential comic gore. Along with Combs, George Wendt and William H. Macy are attached to star. No release date is set.
#3: L.A. Gothic Release Date: TBA 2008 Along with colleagues like Argento, Hooper and Gordon, working on the Showtime series "Masters of Horror," has seemed to pump new, invigorated blood into horror legend John Carpenter. With a slew of misses (albeit at times fun) like Ghosts of Mars and Vampires, Carpenter now devotes his time and effort to L.A. Gothic; a quintet of horror stories surrounding an ex-Priest's fervent attempt to save his teenage daughter from the unnecessary evils of the Los Angeles underworld. With a hopeful 2008 release, so far only Brent Gorcie is rumored to play a part.
#2: Frankenstein Release Date: TBA Although Guillermo del Toro has been relatively silent about his plans to direct his own version of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, we're still extremely excited the acclaimed director is even considering to provide his own take on the classic story. Del Toro, who is known for directing Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, and other films, has said that he believes that he'll be able to "tell the myth in a different way." Prior Del Toro fare in the horror world include Mimic and the must see Cronos.
#1: Drag Me to Hell Release Date: TBA Before becoming an A-list director behind behemoth blockbusters like the Spiderman franchise, Sam Raimi was deeply steeped in the horror genre. He pushed the envelope with The Evil Dead series, combining technical ingenuity with a blend of horrific and humorous story elements. Not only that, but he basically apotheosized the character of Ash, the immortal Bruce Campbell camp cult hero. And now, for the first time since '92, he returns to the genre with Drag Me to Hell, about a supernatural curse gone awry, permeating a human host. So far, Justin Long is in line to star, an unsettled 2009 release date to be seen.

Yea I wanna watch most of them. Have watched Hellboy II already. Good haha. It isn't a horror flick but it'll do. But oh when it comes to Horror, it has to be said that this is one realm where Asians do it better than Westerners. You CANNOT BEAT ASIAN HORROR FLICKS. Hands-down Asian horror is the best. Maybe because I'm Asian and I feel more for Asian supernatural culture, being immersed in it more of the time.
Btw have you guys watched Incredible Tales?? Omg it's one show that's locally produced that I really really love=) haha.
OK ENOUGH WITH MY HORROR OBSSESSION. I have no idea why I'm so obssessed with all things horror. Maybe coz I was born on/near Halloween. hehe. NOOOO IDEAA.
(after re-reading this post: OMG I'M SUCH A GEEK =( )
Aye it's been a really long entry. I'll end it for now. Update another time! Heh. Ciaoooo

long time no blog! lol. sorry to like all of my 7 readers.
It's from the canto show My Date With A Vampire II! It's amazing haha. Also, been singing Sarang in gayo from Goong: Princess Hours haha. That's one nice song man. Love it!
So i said I'd blog about stuff that's been happening.. Well, i got a job at the Singapore Zoo. Spent my Valentine's day there working.. It was an on the job evaluation thing to assess if they wanted me. It was really really really really FUN! I was placed at the Entrance where I basically tore up the tickets of people entering the zoo. I made a lot of mistakes when tearing the tickets (like tearing off the wrong part of the ticket altogether or forgetting to record the different types of tickets lol) but i think my energy more than made up for it. I was really like, enthusiastically greeting people as they entered.. "Hi! Welcome to the Singapore Zoo=) " and with my typical big big smile* haha.
Then I was placed on exit duty as well, which was ALSO fun =) At least, the earlier parts, when I gave out really cool Zoo bookmarks to little kids (OMG SO MANY AND ALL SO ADORABLE) and said bye to people leaving, giving re-entry stamps to people who needed to enter again.. At exit duty I had to keep saying "Thanks for visiting the Zoo, hope to see you again" and other variations..
Then as it was Valentine's Day, there were like 5678920319284761 couples turning up with roses and cheesy couple shirts and all. I thought I would be bitter about it but surprisingly I was like really happy. Everytime I let a couple in I'd be like "Have a nice Valentine's day!" and to my surprise I really meant it! I think it's sweet that couples would wanna come to the Zoo for Valentine's. Funny thing was when I wished them a Happy Valentine's, usually the guy would respond "Thanks, you too" and I'd be thinking "Do I look like I'm having a Happy Valentine's??" lol. But yea it was uber fun. We also did maintenance checks of the entrance area, surveys of visitors and lunch was provided. Mingling with the colleagues was great too and I really just loved seeing all the visitors.
In the end, however, it was a really exhausting day. I smiled till my cheek muscles ached and the 7hours of standing really hurt my back. Plus, after I was done with the day I walked all the way out to the main road from inside the zoo (that's a freaking long walk, like from SIM to Beauty World or something like that) to meet my dad.
My nametag=)
Earlier in the day I was told that I'd be observed by people and cameras and that there would be 'spies' watching my progress so that they could evaluate my behavior and suitability. I kinda felt as if I was on display for awhile and it sort of explained why random people kept coming up to talk to me. But I love that the atmosphere was really friendly. All of us who were working for the Zoo would always smile at each other as we walked past and some even stopped for a friendly chat. It was really awesome.
When it came to the end of the day (I'd done like 2 hours of exit duty and it was awfully tiring, having to smile and say "Thanks for coming to the zoo, have a great evening, have a nice day, see you again, blah blah blah" ) I was called to the corporate office for a debrief. Now I must say that I'd actually done some research before going for the first interview and I already knew that if I was shortlisted I'd have to go through the onthejob assessment thing, because I read the blog of this other girl who had done it. So on that girl's blog, she was told that they would contact her within a week from her onjobassessment to let her know if she got the job. She also mentioned that she had gotten some positive feedback so she felt she'd get the job and all.
So bearing all this in mind, I went to the debrief session thinking that if I'd done well I could expect a call in the next week. So I went to the meeting room, and the lady in charge was all like "What did you learn from this" and "Would you be keen on taking up this job" etc. I gave the appropriate responses, and said that yea I could see myself doing this (but I didn't see it as like a confirmation of me taking the job coz i thought I'd have a bit of leeway in that one week to consider whether or not i'd like it)..
Apparently my responses and performance that day were like really good coz she handed me a file that she'd brought in with her and inside it was the SOP for staff, and other material that I'd needed. She said that there'd been positive feedback from the people I worked with, people who were observing and also what she saw for herself.. I was all like o.0 ... She started talking about stuff like when I could make it and all. Then she was like, "Any other questions?" I kinda stared at her and went "Uh, ok so uh, is this all OFFICIAL?" haha and she was like "yes"
So my verdict for my performance that day: 4 words - Hired on the spot. Pretty good I guess. I'm semi-looking forward to work. Haha. So you guys can come visit me at the Zoo anytime =) Actually, not anytime. Give me some warning haha.
Couldn't resist taking a picture of my uniform for the day haha. Was told to come down in plain white polo tee and dark jeans with covered sports shoes.. And you can see the handy little pouch we were given. It's awesome lol.
Had to hide out in the toilet to take these pictures lol. The only time you're allowed to check/use your phones.
So yup. After that went for family dinner to send-off cousin (Biao Jie) who was going back to Canada.. She's prolly gonna marry her Japanese boyfriend soon so we'll probably see her soon enough. Took lots of pictures with the cousins, had a lot of fun =) It was a fun, enriching Valentine's Day i guess, haha.
My handsome boyfriend for the night lol. I think I did pretty well for myself, despite looking so hideous. LOL. I bagged the best looking guy in the restaurant! haha. sadly he's like, 5 years younger than me and related by blood. LOL
Ding and yang look really great here =)
Biao jie, take care and be safe=) <3
BEN!!! I'd really wanted to go for your talk thing but yea now you know what I was busy with=( Next time ok! =) haha
ok now for explanation of the *. So I really don't think I have that nice a smile, seeing as I have the horrible teeth and all, but apparently a lot of people think I have a "great smile" which kinda puzzles me haha. I was doing a presentation kinda thing in class for our Public Speaking course, and I was really nervous coz I didn't prepare well and didn't really know what to say. So being as nervous as I was, I smiled constantly at the audience in a semi-idiotic way. Then because everyone was supposed to evaluate everyone and hand their comments to the person who spoke, I had a chance to see what everyone thought and the most common comment was "Great smile" etc. Of course, a lot of people said I was "confident" which means the smiling effectively distracted them from my nervousness haha. Joce told me after that that the only thing that gave my nerves away was how my neck area was turning progressively redder as I spoke. HAHAHA. Amazing.
Apart from all that, I've been busy I guess. School and stuff. Oh oh! Val and I made a show! Oh man, another long story, haha. I'll blog about it another time. For now, just head on over to http://www.ustream.tv/channel/untitled-for-now to have some good, almost clean fun! =)
Till the next time, ciao guys and love!
hmmm.. it's looking good, looking good =)

hmm i'm in a really weird mood now. i'm feeling the serious urge to write some prose but can't think of a premise. bah. so here I am writing a blog entry instead. haha.
been busy lately i guess. school and stuff. went to K at last!! Met with abby for a celebration sorta thing of our grades.. my Dean's list thing (a bit overrated actually) and her 4.0 GPA for last sem... I asked Joce along coz I was dying to K and she and I both wanted to K =) All in all it was fun =D
Hmm then i guess much of the rest of the time was school. Was running myself to exhaustion i guess. Kinda died by the time Friday came along. I'm just so tired lately, so lazy to go anywhere. I don't have the mood for anything. I know why though, I'm just not gonna share it here. Haha.
I realize I'm starting to bottle things up and I know it's unhealthy but I'm starting to feel that I shouldn't bother my friends again. They're busy, have their own problems, and plus, my problems are boring. So anyways I think this bottling up thing is not too good for my emotional health because I'm getting extremely irritable. I get annoyed by the slightest things now. Like right now i'm really annoyed coz this boy in my estate keeps singing really annoyingly and loudly... And my parents keep making way too much noise and my dad keeps screaming for me to go downstairs to do stupid stuff like set up the karaoke system for him or watch some freakish old-school movie which i have NEGATIVE interest in. That's right, NEGATIVE interest. Not only do I have zero interest in it, I HATE IT.
Gah. Like I said, i'm easily annoyed. One little spark that lit up my past week though, was that my final package from Buffalo finally arrived! And I feel the timing couldn't have been more right because I was feeling at my lowest, walking home from the bus stop and angsting as is usual for me nowadays.. I skulked into my room and noticed a huge box in front of my bed and my heart took a slow but happy leap.. And I was happy for the next 2 hours or so =) I'm really really glad coz all my books and scrapbooking stuff and all are here!
So nowadays I spend my free time lolling around, reading my books. At last. It's a kind of bliss for me. Well you know, a small kind of bliss in the midst of all the angsting. haha.
Busy week ahead. Interviews and school and meeting friends. Yea. I really wish I could bury myself in work. Alright. Bye guys~

So my horoscope forecast thing for February is out and some stuff has been quite accurate again..! Haha last month's was KINDA accurate but majorly inaccurate for some things. So it really is all subjective la heh.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Your February Horoscope by Susan Miller
Your home will be a major focus in February. If you are up to making changes, whether large or small, you'll be thrilled with the results. The solar eclipse that occurred last month on January 26 brought your home, property, and family-related plans to front and center of your life quite rapidly, so you may have already started to draw up blueprints.
As you enter February, you may begin to see important opportunities to make your lifestyle closer to the way you want it to be. Last month Mercury was in weak, retrograde motion, but happily, you can make solid plans now that Mercury will move ahead February 1.
Mars, your ruling planet, will arrive in the same area of home and property on February 4, marking Mars' first visit in two years. Once there, the Red Planet will join the Sun, Neptune, and Jupiter, all awaiting this energetic planet's arrival. This is A LOT of planetary energy to have at your disposal, all so beneficial, too!
If you would like to move, through leasing or buying a new space, you have one of your best opportunities in over a decade to do so. Good fortune Jupiter is now in your house of home for the first time since 1997 and will see to it that you find a spacious, sunny dwelling that should offer a view and possibly even big closets. Don't settle for anything less than the best of what you want!
You need not move to enjoy Jupiter's gracious luck. It may be as simple as clearing out closets, making repairs, adding a fresh coat of paint, and perhaps adding a new piece of furniture. Taken in the aggregate, these small changes would make a big difference. (The new piece of furniture you buy would not have to be costly. It may be a delicious find you spot on eBay or at a flea market. Fortunate Jupiter will bring you bargains now, so keep your eyes open.)
If you buy or lease, you may pay more than you had planned to, only because the space you find will be so valuable. Indeed, what you find may be too good to pass up! The value will certainly be obvious.
If you are trying to save your house from having it reclaimed by the bank, put on your thinking cap and try a host of solutions. Even though you find yourself in a tight spot, you will have massive cosmic support now, with so many friendly planets filling your home sector. Among them is Jupiter, not only the planet of good fortune, but also of miracles, so leave no stone unturned, dear Scorpio.
You may be deliberating with the idea of moving in with a lover, but if so, you might want to wait a bit longer to decide if that would be a good idea. Neptune has you very excited and happy, but you could be sweeping a tad too enthusiastically into the sea of love. Give this decision a little more time, say, to the end of July or early August.
A more spacious housing situation is certainly indicated. One Scorpio recently found her apartment doubled in size when her ex moved out - she got the place, and a divine place it was to be! Jupiter works in magical ways, wouldn't you say? You may also discover that your building is converting to condo, allowing you to buy, when you assumed that would never be possible.
Neptune will move very close to the Sun at this time, so be very careful about checking up on your housing's water supply. If you are moving into a new space you are buying, ask questions of the previous tenant, the neighbors, and the owner about water quality, possible flooding, and other related situations involving water, ice, mold, and so forth. Ask an engineer for a full report on the cleanliness of the water and whether any water damage has posed a problem in the past.
Just in case, with Neptune so active, be sure to have an insurance policy that will guard you against floods and any other possible water-related problems. I am being very cautious, that is all, so don't be anxious, dear Scorpio.
You may also want to check with an electrician too, to be sure your new upgraded space's circuitry will be support many high tech items like flat screen TVs, new kitchen appliances, computers, and other such electronics. If your building was built several decades ago, you will want to make sure your sockets can handle the additional electrical demand you will place on them.
Exceptional good news about home will come on February 24 when Mercury and Jupiter align. It'll be an ideal day to sign papers.
Your home life seems to be very connected to what is going on in your career, and you will see this to be true at the month's major moment, the lunar eclipse, February 9, operative plus or minus one week. You may need to relocate to accept your new post or it may be that your new job will allow you to upgrade your standard of living.
Watch for exciting career developments to surface on February 9 or in the days surrounding this date. If you have been interviewing for a new job, but have been unable to find out what is being discussed and decided behind the scenes, you will find out at this time for sure. If you are self-employed, you will be able to net a top new client, one that raises your status in the industry quite a bit.
Neptune will be active again, so be sure you understand the parameters of the job and what will be expected of you - ask many specific questions. Neptune can crate foggy situations, so there is some danger that you and your employer / client may be of two minds about that.
The job you will be discussing may go in one of two directions. The first would center you in the entertainment or fashion industry, with special emphasis on designers, music, celebrities, and hot new trends. The second way it may go is toward any and all industries that cater to children, including education, clothing, toys, books, children's TV programming, or is in some way connected to teaching.
Eclipses are famous for creating rapidly moving events, and bringing with them some urgency to make a decision quickly. You will go through the eclipse period far calmer if you don't overcrowd your schedule near February 9.
Many meetings and phone calls will come up on and near this date, and you'll need to have some elasticity in your schedule to respond to career offers and events as they rapidly unfold. Even if you currently hold the top position in your organization, you can always ascend to a spot even higher, dear Scorpio, a fact you will discover now. Some Scorpios will not hear of a new job on this date, but rather will have a February 9 start date that was accepted some time ago, with equally fine results.
Often eclipses ask us to "eclipse out" of a present job, so the decision to move to your new position, whether within your present firm or to a new company, may be quite sudden. Should you lose a job (very unlikely, but if you do), you will later thank your company for freeing you to find something better.
In that case, assertively begin your job search without delay, and by midyear you will be on the cusp of a new, better position. The end of 2009 will bring you plenty of professional accolades, so it seems clear you will be able to turn things to your advantage. As you see, no matter what happens, there is no need to feel stressed out. You are going to be fine.
After all these serious home and career decisions on the docket, you will need a little fun. The universe understands and will bring you a number of enchanting evenings.
First, Valentine's Day will see the moon in Scorpio, bringing to fullness all your most romantic desires and dreams for a perfect evening out with the one you love. Your sign is considered one of the most true blue, passionate, and also the most private of any of the signs. On this night, if you have a partner, suggest a way to best spend the evening. It is evident that your partner adores you and will want to please you.
If you have no special partner, you may meet your one true love sooner than you ever expected. The new moon on February 24 will fall in your romance sector and may bring a surprise meeting with someone quite intriguing. This same new moon will have you soon growing closer to your partner if you are attached.
Thanks to collaboration between Mercury and Jupiter on the very same day of the new moon, February 24, you may find this day particularly tender, ideal for a meeting of the mind and heart with the one you love.
A discussion about a present or soon-hoped-for pregnancy (or plans for a child you have now) may come up in February's last week. If you are just starting your family, may be worried about how you'd handle motherhood and a new job at the same time, but it simply comes down to having lots of love and passion as well as a penchant for organization, all elements you were born with in abundance.
Not interested in having a child? You won't lose out - this same trend will encourage your creativity on a very large scale. If you have a new position, it will give you plenty of room to show off your imagination. If you don't know about your new position yet (there is some indication some Scorpios may not know until early August), then your artistic expressions and sense of style will put you ahead of the pack and in line for that top job soon.
One of your happiest two days of the month for seeing gratifying progress on a personal matter dear to you will be February 16-17. That's when Mars, your ruler, will conjoin Jupiter, the planet of happiness and good fortune, a rare and sparkling aspect. This meeting of Mars and Jupiter won't occur again until spring 2011, so enjoy the results while you have it! Home, family, and real estate matters glow, as will conditions involving a project on the job. In fact, your pockets may brim with more cash as a result of what happens on this glorious set of days.
It's a powerful month and one that will point you in a whole new direction, whether at home, at work, or in your love life - but more likely at least two of the three, if not all!
Summary
All sorts of major stirrings appear to be bubbling up in your life these days. Last month you had a solar eclipse in Aquarius on January 26, and with a bevy of planets also filling your home sector during most of February, you may be getting ready to move or change the way your home looks and feels. If so, your timing couldn't be better. Last month, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, entered your home sector, making 2009 the best year in a decade to change spaces.
While all of 2009 will be special for improving your living situation, February will be your best month of all, for you will have the support of so many other planets in Aquarius. If you need to do something difficult, such as to move across country, do a complete renovation, buy a house, or save your house from foreclosure, this would be the month to have talks, make applications, or draw up concrete plans, as the case may be. Realize that you don't have to actually finish things, but it surely would be the right month to start.
You may be changing your living arrangements because of a change that's brewing in your career. The full moon lunar eclipse may seal things on February 9, plus or minus one week. It appears one job will end and a new one will begin. I could be wrong, but it looks like you'll be leaving one career situation for another. These two separate situations may dovetail at the same time, but if they don't, don't worry - your chart shows plenty of evidence you are going up, up, up the ladder of success in life.
One of your happiest days of the month will be February 17, when Jupiter will align with Mars in your house of home. This day is worthy of five stars, so find something, large or small, to do to improve your home situation on that day. Order a piece of furniture, close on a house, rent a new apartment, or buy a flat screen TV. (Digital and electronic items are VERY favored on this day.)
Mercury is no longer retrograde as of February 1, so from February 4 onward (leaving a little room from the day Mercury turns direct) you can make all the big decisions you like.
When it comes to romance, Valentine's Day, February 14, should be really special this year - the moon will be in Scorpio, emphasizing your desires and dreams. If you are attached or married, chose a very private place to celebrate your love for each other.
If you are thinking of moving in with your sweetheart, I would like you to delay that decision for awhile because Neptune will be so very active. This suggests that you may not be thinking clearly. More facts will come into play, so take it slow. You can always decide to do so later. You are in the process of a vast life change, all of it exciting, so why rush things? You are the prize, dear Scorpio!
No special love? The new moon on February 24 will be your fairy godmother in helping you find your best opportunity in ages to meet new people. Who cares if Valentine's Day comes late as long as it arrives? Be out and about, dear Scorpio! If you are married and hope for a baby, this new moon would be one of the best to begin trying. Do so in the days that follow, as you will have 2-3 weeks.
Dates to note:
Your home, property, or the welfare of a parent will be your first priority in the first half of February. You can get so much done!
A career offer or thrilling development on the professional front will have your full attention: February 9 plus or minus four days.
Some eclipses assert their messages one month to the day later, plus or minus four days, so stay alert if you learn nothing now.) You may need to relocate to take full advantage of the job.
Married or single, dating or not, your most romantic evenings: February 14 -15 and after the new moon February 24-28. Other romantic dates include (as runner ups) February 6 and 20, but clearly the others have the edge.
A very lucky set of days for you: February 16-17. Home, real estate, family, job progress, and money all shine.
A heartfelt exchange with a romantic interest could touch you: February 24, a four-star night.
Home, property, and family-related changes are all made in heaven in early to mid-February. Jupiter will see to it that you find a dream living situation or bargain piece of furniture you have always wanted.
The thing about Feb9 is very very true. I have an interview for a job I really want on that day and so I hope it all goes well! =)
As for everything else, we'll see. Ok blog later. Ciao all~ I'm uber tired.

gah it's February already! well. i've slacked off the entire previous week, which i think is really great. I'm feeling so happy and rested. it's good. been "addicted to your laptop", as my mom says.. I think dealing with my computer is so much better than dealing with humans because when your computer disappoints you it usually is only a technical glitch. when people disappoint you, it hurts in your heart, and that's the worst kind of hurt..
was watching Ghost Whisperer today.. Stopped watching coz I heard they killed off Melinda's husband Jim and I didn't wanna see that happen.. But I saw an ad on tv today and apparently they brought back the actor as someone new, perhaps a potential love interest and I just wanna see how that works out. Heh. So yea. Ghost Whisperer. It rocks!!
And while watching it, I found a totally suitable song. So here's today's Song of the Day!!
I Will Be Waiting by Kelly Sweet When it hurts too much to pretend And the words burn inside your head You can't say what you really mean It's not that easy
But if we never let each other know Let the light shine in upon our souls We can dream but we will never see What life could be
Someday i'll find you And i'll catch you When you look my way Someday you won't be afraid And you'll find the words to say They were always there anyway And i will be waiting
When the tears are slowly melting down Your heart's stuck on the merry-go-round Praying you could find a sign for when This game will end
Someday i'll find you And i'll catch you When you look my way Someday you won't be afraid And you'll find the words to say They were always there anyway And i will be waiting
When you lose your thoughts from a single look When you can't remember the last breath you took I will be waiting
